Merry Christmas Fun

This is my daughter's dog, Maizie, an Italian Greyhound and she is always cold. She is sleeping or going full tilt and tearing around the house. Here we wrapped her up in a blanket because we wanted to warm her up, her fur is short and she is so skinny.
Andrea asked for socks and tights. She is showing off one of them.
Looks like a Charlie Brown Christmas. No lights or oranaments.
Doyle at my cousin Beverly's Christmas party. Amazing amount of food and so delicious.
Close up of beads in vase. You can see into the room and such a beautiful red.
New Christmas haircut and bow.
After swinging at the park we saw our long shadows on the way to the car.
Andrea swinging to the sky.
Pretty high up.
First time to swing in a long time. Fun. All of you go try it.
Andrea, my daughter.
Beautiful.

Try Again

Playing with light and angles with a soft fabric. It was beautiful with shades of purple and lavender.

It has been hard to know what to put on my blog. I have been putting it off. I sit here and go
blank. So, here is one of my favorite quotes by Barbara Hall.

"There's a school of thought that says when you have the impulse to do something that makes
absolutely no sense, that's exactly what you should do. Because it's a kind of spiritual calling.
Your preparing to do something BIG and it's okay that you don't know what it is yet."

Need More Help

Just plain happy.
Adjusting the color from there original true colors and love it.
The original rose was beautiful but I like the strange mix of colors.
Texas Blue Bonnet grown by Doyle in our yard.
Love the colors on the black background.
The softest pastel pink like a hand painted photograph.
Love the feel of this one.

More pictures I have been working with.
Trying to learn how to post after Andrea, my daughter goes home.
There is so much to learn. But so much fun.

Open Door

Visiting my niece and her son in Dallas, this was taken in her backyard.

Reflections, I thought this was a great picture, also from her backyard. Thought the ripples followed along the shape of the tree.

Pretty flowers.

Taken in my friend's backyard, the background is a notebook I had on me.
Just picked up Andrea from the airport in Austin and headed back to East Texas. She is acting goofy with her Dad here.

Here is my daughter Andrea and I during one of her recent visits. She is helping me to put this blog together!
