Second Day of 2011

This is what I am working on for an idea I have. I got these small 2x2 canvases for Christmas.
Both sides will have art work on them. Other than that I am not sure. As I work on them I will post an update on how they develop.
This is a close up of them in the first creativeness.. What will they become?
Here is homemade multi-grain bread. It has risen once, now "pushed-down" and ready to be cut in half and rolled into loaf shapes. Once that is done, it is placed in the loaf pans. It then gets to rise once more. Once the second rise is accomplished, then its to the oven. It tasted great. Doyle knows how to cook bread. I will post more later.

I am learning a little more how to post on my blog. I would like to be able to connect my facebook on to my blog. Can anyone help me find out how to do this? Please email me.

New Years Day

My kids are adults but it had some great ideas on staying on my goals and getting art work done to the finish.
This book equally shows how to create time and space. I claim this year as the year to create like crazy. Photography, painting, collage, hats, scarves, and keep my store running.
This is my new date book for 2011. It has beautiful art of women reading.

It has been a beautiful day. Lots of plans this year.

New Years Eve

I have not posted in a long while. The last time I had my grand opening in my store but since then I had to close it. I am still in Old Magnolia.
I am going to try to get better at this blogging thing. I never was great at writing letters. Hope I can improve in this direction.
Happy New Year
Write more soon.

Kittens

Lovely kittens.

Sunday, April 18, 2010

I have opened a store and my Grand Opening Soiree is May 8th from 5:00 until 8:00.
The fashion show is at 6:30. Refreshments, cake and homemade ice cream. I will try to get pictures of the store on my blog soon.

All kinds of plans coming up this year. I am still getting used to this blog and posting on a regular basis.

I joined the local photography group here and enjoying getting out there and being challenged.
I have really gotten rusty. Saturday some of the group went out on a nature walk and had a good time photographing nature. Even photographed an alligator at a far distance. I do not know if you can see him in the photo.

A BRIGHT SHINY NEW YEAR

HAPPY NEW YEAR

Revolution is the word I carry into this new year. It is that thing I carry in my mind and in my heart. The letting go of old echos and change the things I can and accept the things I can not. Today is a gift. Go fearless with wings, in Gods grace. I embrace this year and the plans of much to share on this blog. HAPPY NEW YEAR May God bless.

Merry Christmas Fun

This is my daughter's dog, Maizie, an Italian Greyhound and she is always cold. She is sleeping or going full tilt and tearing around the house. Here we wrapped her up in a blanket because we wanted to warm her up, her fur is short and she is so skinny.
Andrea asked for socks and tights. She is showing off one of them.
Looks like a Charlie Brown Christmas. No lights or oranaments.
Doyle at my cousin Beverly's Christmas party. Amazing amount of food and so delicious.
Close up of beads in vase. You can see into the room and such a beautiful red.
New Christmas haircut and bow.
After swinging at the park we saw our long shadows on the way to the car.
Andrea swinging to the sky.
Pretty high up.
First time to swing in a long time. Fun. All of you go try it.
Andrea, my daughter.
Beautiful.

Try Again

Playing with light and angles with a soft fabric. It was beautiful with shades of purple and lavender.

It has been hard to know what to put on my blog. I have been putting it off. I sit here and go
blank. So, here is one of my favorite quotes by Barbara Hall.

"There's a school of thought that says when you have the impulse to do something that makes
absolutely no sense, that's exactly what you should do. Because it's a kind of spiritual calling.
Your preparing to do something BIG and it's okay that you don't know what it is yet."

Need More Help

Just plain happy.
Adjusting the color from there original true colors and love it.
The original rose was beautiful but I like the strange mix of colors.
Texas Blue Bonnet grown by Doyle in our yard.
Love the colors on the black background.
The softest pastel pink like a hand painted photograph.
Love the feel of this one.

More pictures I have been working with.
Trying to learn how to post after Andrea, my daughter goes home.
There is so much to learn. But so much fun.
